The Spiritual Life is Not a Theory…
We Have to Live It
This is the theme of Crested Butte Mountain Conference. This five-day conference is filled with stimulating in-depth workshops and discussion meetings as well as traditional speaker meetings. Surrounded by the majestic Rocky Mountains, the conference balances a variety of outdoor activities to provide a truly unique experience an AA/Al-Anon/Alateen vacation conference.

Information if traveling Hwy 50 from Montrose.  The bridge on Hwy 50 west of Gunnison is closed for the foreseeable future.  It will likely not be open at the time of the Conference.  There is a limited local detour option that is guided by pilot vehicles (check link below for schedule) and two main recommended routes.  The northern route is 354 miles and requires approximately 6 hours of travel time. The southern route is 331 miles and requires nearly 7 hours of travel time.  They are planning to have it open by July 4, but nothing is certain.  For the most current information, please see the link below.  It is updated weekly.
